Daily Tents
The rule
One tent per tree, pitched beside it, and no two tents touch.
Every tree gets exactly one tent, in a square directly above, below, left or right of it. Tents and trees pair off one to one, so a tent beside two trees still belongs to only one of them.
No two tents may touch, not even at a corner. The numbers down the side and across the top say how many tents that row or column holds.
The counts get you started and the pairing finishes it. When a tent would leave some tree with nowhere of its own to go, that square is grass, however well the numbers seem to fit.
Controls
Click a square to pitch a tent. Click again to mark it grass, and once more to clear it. Shift click or right click goes round the other way. Progress saves in this browser as you go, so you can come back to the same puzzle later today.
Solvable Without Guessing
Every puzzle here was generated and then handed to a solver that is only allowed techniques a person can use. If it could not finish the grid without a guess, the puzzle was thrown away rather than published. That also makes the answer unique, because every step it took was forced.
