EnthusiasTIC is a Medium-difficulty turning interlocking cube built from just 2 pieces. Designed by Andrew Crowell, it asks you to form a perfect 5x5x5 cube - a goal that sounds trivial with two pieces and takes 30-60 min to actually crack. Teal wraps the cube, white threads through it. Neither piece lets go first.
Best for: First-time TIC solvers. If you have never solved a turning interlocking cube, two pieces strips the puzzle down to the one thing you need to learn: the turn.
What Makes EnthusiasTIC Special
TIC stands for Turning Interlocking Cube - a category where the pieces do not slide apart, they rotate apart. That single difference is what defeats people who are good at ordinary interlocking puzzles: the move you need is one you have been trained not to try.
That rotation needs somewhere to happen. Every TIC carries hollow space inside the finished cube - internal cavities the pieces turn through on their way out - and you never see them, because every outer face is solid. It is also why EnthusiasTIC is 5x5x5 where Crowell's 4 and 5-piece TICs are 4x4x4: two pieces turning past each other need the extra room.
EnthusiasTIC inverts the usual balance - here the teal piece is the larger, enveloping half, with the white piece running through its core. Both halves reach around corners, so there is no obvious lead piece to pull. It is the kind of solve that clicks all at once rather than loosening gradually.
Both pieces grip in more than one axis, so the release needs a turn rather than a pull.

FAQ
What is the EnthusiasTIC puzzle?
EnthusiasTIC is a two-piece turning interlocking cube by Andrew Crowell. Both pieces must rotate past each other to come apart and to go back together, forming a solid 5x5x5 cube. It is rated Medium with a 30-60 min solve time.
How hard is EnthusiasTIC?
Medium. Two pieces reads as easy, but the turning mechanism means pulling and sliding get you nowhere. Most of the 30-60 min goes on finding the rotation, not on repeating it once you have.
Does EnthusiasTIC ship assembled?
Yes. It arrives as a solved 5x5x5 cube, so taking it apart is your first puzzle. If you want it to arrive scrambled, it is easier to take apart than to put back.
Is EnthusiasTIC a good first TIC?
The two-piece TICs are the gentlest way into the category - fewer pieces means fewer places the rotation can hide. EnthusiasTIC sits alongside EcstaTIC in that group, and all of them are a step down from Crowell's 4 and 5-piece designs.

FAQ
Do You Ship Worldwide?
Yes. I ship anywhere. Orders typically arrive in 1-3 weeks depending on your location and how customs is behaving.
How Long Does Processing Take?
Some puzzles are produced on demand in our studio in Czech Republic. Processing usually takes 3-5 days before your order ships. During busier seasons it may take a bit longer.
Do Puzzles Come With Solutions?
Usually not. Sometimes you can find the solution on my YouTube channel. If not, feel free to reach out for hints!
What If I Get Stuck?
Good. That's the whole point.
But if "stuck" turns into "frustrated and not having fun anymore," email me. I'll send you a hint if you want a nudge. No judgment. Some puzzles took me days. A few took weeks. Some took months. Some took years. And some I have never solved - and that is part of the appeal.
Returns & Exchanges
Yes. You have 30 days. If the puzzle isn't right for you, send it back in the condition you got it and I'll refund you. If something arrived damaged or wrong, tell me and I'll fix it. Please be patient as we're a small team!
Are These Good Gifts?
People LOVE buying our puzzles as gifts. They're physical, they last forever, they don't need batteries, and they create a real moment - the person sits down, struggles, laughs, eventually solves it. That memory sticks.
If you're gifting, check the difficulty rating and pick something one notch below what you think the person can handle. Easier than you'd guess is usually the right call.
How Are the Puzzles Made?
All the puzzles are made with the help of my partner Puzzle Guy and his 3D printing studio in Czech Republic.
What Is a TIC Puzzle?
TIC stands for Turning Interlocking Cubes. They're a family of puzzles where wooden pieces interlock and rotate into a cube shape. The solve isn't just sliding pieces - you have to find the right rotations, in the right order. They're some of my favorite puzzles in the store.
Why Is Everything Turquoise?
I grew up near the sea in Israel. When life got loud or overwhelming, that's where I went to reset. Sit, watch the water, breathe. Things would settle.
The turquoise on this site isn't a branding choice I picked from a swatch. It's that color. The one I still see when I close my eyes and think of the place that calmed me down. I want you to feel a small version of that when you pick up a puzzle - a quiet moment, hands busy, head clear.
